How to Supplement Your Pedal Exerciser

Using an exercise peddler is a great way to burn off some extra calories without really having to put a great deal of effort into it. However, it should be noted that a pedal exerciser on its own is probably not going to be enough to help you get a physique that is truly toned in every single way, shape or form because of the fact that you are only targeting your feet, calved and, to some extent, your quads. You are not targeting your upper body at all which can be a problem because your upper body’s musculature is what contributes the most to how physically attractive you have the potential to end up looking at any given point in time.

You’re probably using an exercise peddler because you are too lazy to go for a run or go to the gym, so you probably won’t be interested in any heavy duty upper body workouts. These would be a bit much anyway since a pedal exerciser doesn’t provide an extremely intense workout. If you want a simple and quick supplement that can boost your upper body strength, you should try doing pushups a few days a week.

You can start by doing as many as you are able to after which you can try to do twice as many but breaking them up into sets of fewer repetitions so that you are actually able to finish your exercise routine. If you add some sit-ups or crunches to the mix you would have yourself a workout that is not very demanding but can help you vastly improve the way you look and enable you to lose a fair amount of weight all in all.
